Content on the freesite - NEWBIE QUESTION

Ok, this is my first time submitting freesites. So this question may seem pretty basic.

I've noticed that most freesites have 2 different sets of pics for each gallery. I noticed that that's not a rule over Greenguy and Jim's linklist.

So my question is, can I use only 1 set of pics for both the galleries? The first set would probably show the girl stripping and some blowjob action, and the second gallery would have sex and cumshot (of the same girl/guy).

If I do that will my freesite get a lower placement?

I don't think I've ever used 2 different sets - just make sure they're in sequence, LLs don't like the first page to have the girl stripping then 2nd pg with clothes on type of thing.

I know some do use 2 sets but most of the ones I've seen are one set, 10-15 pics per gallery page.

Like Ponygirl said, one set is the "norm", with a natural progression. Some people (myself included) use two sets when I have sets with too few pics for a complete freesite. Both ways seem to work fine.

I don't think I've ever seen a LL specify any preference for one set or two. As ponygirl says, there's often a rule that pics should be in sequence - usually that the model starts off clothed, say, and ends up naked (saw a set the other day where the girl starts off naked then gets dressed in some latex gear - was tempted to submit it just see the reaction

). Also some lists (can't recall which offhand) specify that you can't use a random collection of themed pics in a gallery - say 10 pantyhose pics featuring different models.

I usually use a different set in each gallery, but I'd be surprised if there was any problem with using one set over two galleries provided they're arranged in a logical sequence.

Might be obvious, but the only thing I would recommend is keeping the content similiar. Two blondes, two sets of hardcore or two blowjob pages. Two completly different niche pages would probably cause some confusion.

And I was thinking of having 2 galleries with 16 pics each, will I have a problem for having "too many pics"?

Also, should gallery 1 always have as much pics as gallery 2? And can they have different designs? How about different sponsors?

Lol... Sorry for all the questions, I really am a newbie when it comes to freesites...

PS: I just realized this was the first time I ever posted here! LOL!

My advice, don't show the cum shot and keep the hardcore pics to minimum. I know, I know that's what YOU like but remember you're selling memberships to a paysite, not giving away porn. If the surfer gets enough from you to climax then you miss out on the sale. You want them to get excited enough to pick up their credit card to find even more exciting pics in the pay area. Just a thought. ---art

You can have different count of pics in each gallery as long there are 10 pics/gallery as minimum. 16 pics/gallery is fine. But as a general rule try to stick with 20 to 30 pics. To much free content might affect your sales.

Minimum is usually 20 pics, I don't know that a lot of LLs will decline you just for having 32 pics, but check each LL, some do have rules about this. BUT why give away the farm? too many pics & your surfer gets off and goes away. It's a judgement call, imo but in freesites - TEASE, DON'T PLEASE

I will sometimes put differing #s of pics on each gallery for natural flow ie: there's an obvious transition pic or one I want the gallery to end at. I don't go too far off, like 10 pics on one & 20 on the other, I try to keep it fairly balanced. That's just me, although most free sites I see have pretty close to or the same #s on each gallery.

Stick with the same colors, bkground etc for each gallery, most LLs don't like it if the galleries look totally different. Mix up the layout of the pics/ads if you want to keep the surfer interested.
Sponsor stuff is up to you as long as you keep to the outgoing link rules. Personally, I generally only use one sponsor, why give too many choices? + I think it's a credibility thing...if you're promoting THE BEST (whatever) SITE ON THE NET, then why do you need another one on there too?
the only time I think this really works is if you add a totally different sponsor ie: your main one then a free email one, or pills etc.
I use my 2 sponsor links for 1 sponsor, then add a link to my LL for the 3 links. If they don't go to the paysite, at least I can try to sell them something else at my LL or make a new bookmarker.

Keep in mind that this is only my opinion

If you surf around the LLs where you want to be listed you'll see lots of different ways to do it.

I've noticed most freesites having 2 different sets of pics are based on sponsors free content. I can't imagine myself giving out two sets of bought content - what a waste.
When people use 2 different sets it usually happens that they describe only one set and description has nothing in common with second one - as for me its good enough reason to decline site. So if you only can stick with one content set per free site, and as other mentioned try to advertise only one paysite (especially when you use lot of sale text and not only banners)

Yes there is (I remember at least one) LL that got max 30 pics rule so make sure, not only in that case but allways, to read each LL's rules

The only reason why I want to do 32 pics is because I'm a TGP gallery submitter and all my galleries have 16 pics, so it would be easier for me to do a freesite with 32 pics...

And I know I'm not supossed to give the goodies!
