Please review my newb free site. Hoping for some traffic this time.

Ladies, gentlemen and anyone else knowledgeable about free site traffic,

My new attempt at a free site may be accessed at http://www.toosxxx4.com/jaylene-rio/babe. I have tried to follow the link list rules but have had difficulties with link list acceptance from the bigger link lists in the past because of use of javascript, for the purpose of image animation, and other link list rule issues in my attempts to push the boundaries of the free site form. This is my third attempt at a free site and the main focus of this effort is to get enough traffic to the site for further free site work to be sensible.

I have some technical background but less experience in this industry. There is no Javascript this time, but there are some css based dynamic HTML effects. Another minor move away from typical free site practice might be noticed in my naming of gallery images like '04-topless-miniskirt.jpg' as opposed to simply '04.jpg'. I am hoping for better SEO, including SEO in image searches, but if it makes the link lists turn me down it will probably do more harm than good.

Currently the free site is targeted for the 'babes' category. I have read in a thread on another form that the babes category may be too generic and I am concerned that the category site may get me into trouble with traffic again. Can/should the site be re-categorized as a boobs or latina site?

It may be nice if the site converts too some day but, if there is no traffic to begin with, then the ability to convert does not help. So all advice on the site, but particularly advice on link list acceptability and traffic, is welcome.

Just a quick note, you won't get accepted at Link-O-Rama with that recip to http://debauchery.com/
They consider that a blind link because the recip does not have the sites name in it

As far as I can tell, that was their recip. I have now made what, I believe to be, a reasonable adjustment to the recip and put it up. Please let me know if there is still a problem.

Couple of points:

Your 2257 page has links to porn, some LL don't like that
You have pictures in the galleries out of order, or mixed series. Put them in order

Didn't realize the problem but am planning to fix it as soon as I can get to it.

Your sites not to bad, i would probably list it.
The content being out of order is kinda ugly, you might be able to get away with 3 galleries of 10 pics each. Im not sure if every link list would list that though. On another note your pics are huge. I use big pictures but i try not to get them over 150kb.
My first attempt at a freesite was horrible but yours isnt to bad

In addition to above, my thoughts:

You are right about the 'Babe' category. Especially since she's latina with big tits. A better title would have been 'Big Tits Latina' or similar, and submitting in those categories.

Personally I dislike text on thumbnails. It looks sloppy imho.

Why is your sales text so small? Too easy to overlook.

Other than that you're on the right track.

I agree, I clicked a thumb and the image was 320KB! I use Irfanview to compress thumbs and images, you can set the output size and the amount of compression. It's free and will do a whole batch with one click.

Since there have been a few requests for gallery images with a smaller memory footprint, I have gone ahead and compressed the images in both galleries to the 100K-150K range.

You could also make a 3rd gallery with 10 pics each if the content zips were all 10 pics each.

I do agree with the guys above. Your advertising text doesn't have to be huge, but you do want the surfers to be able to read it. Jester is on target with the 3rd gallery - much better than mixing pictures in from different sets. One way to deal with the text on thumbs issue is to cut your own. It really is not tough to do and it lets you tease your visitors the way you want to. As to category, be aware that not all LLs have both a boobs and latina category. She would also fit into pornstar (per the text on her banners), and that is another possibility.

I'd list it - attraction for me is it is a different sponsor and fresher content.

Popular sentiment seems to be backing a third gallery. I don't know if the 2x12 people will take 3x10 but at this point, unless someone raises a sensible objection, I plan on building the third gallery and cleaning up the first two. Since I do this part time fixing the galleries may take a little while, at least a few days.

Most Link Lists have a comments box at the end of the form.. if you are making a 3rd gallery as to not mix the content, just include a little comment about why youre doing it. Youd be surprised how much a little communication can go. Shows you're not a bot/auto-submitter and that you understand the rules that are laid out.

The revisions are pretty much in now, I think, with three galleries, larger advert text and new 2257. New recips may be needed at some point (soon?) for changes in submission category.

Any further recommendations still quite welcome ...

I used to use an exit link, but I decided it was a wasted link and wasted space, especially if it leads to Google.

The 2257 link leads to a page which has yet another link that leads to what looks like a promo. In cases like this where the sponsor cannot supply a decent 2257 link, I usually build one and host on my server.

I actually like the three gallery format as it gives more ad space. It's uncommon except for gay sites, however...not sure how it will be received.
