Video Issues

I've been using FF more and more but I notice when I review a site and click a .wmv file it doesn't play the vid but saves it to my desktop. Anyone know how to stop that and just play the clip?

When the box opens asking you what you want to do, open with....., save to disk, etc, select open with (choose the viewer) and check the box that tells the browser to always do this for that type of file.

With FF I don't get "open with", all I get is Open Link in New Window, Open Link in New Tab, Bookmark This Link, and a bunch of others but nothing that let's me select a viewer.

Open FireFox, click on Tools ----> Options ----> Applications

Under Content Type locate "Windows Media Audio/Video file (video/x-ms-wmv)" and right in front of it under Action, choose "Use Windows Media Player Plug-in Dynamic Library".

If you don't have the Plug-in, you can download it HERE

That should take care of your problem.
