Sunday Morning Wake-Up Thread for 11 December 2011
Good morning world
Looks like it's going to be another day of a rainy weekend down here, which is fine since I'll be inside working on some projects anyway. Plus the rain is nice for sleeping. With all the talking heads on the news shows running their mouths about whether we should call it a Christmas tree or a Holiday tree and other related nonsense, here's something that made me laugh...hope you enjoy it too.

Guess I should open the blinds and look outside to see if it is nice or not but it looks nice on our security cams.
Kayaked out to the boat parade last night. It was a full moon and the weather was beautiful until about 8:30 when it started pouring rain. We put on our rain gear, paddled back to our car at which point it stopped raining. Actually the boat parade was rather lame this year with very few really decked out boats. I guess it is a sign of these recession times. Kayaks are still loaded from last night so if it is nice we are going kayaking and if it isn't nice out we are planning a fun filled day of cleaning house. |

I always wondered why not believing in invisible deities is called atheism. It's not like not believing in the Easter bunny has its own name.

Good afternoon.
Lazy Sunday here which isn't bad since I have a mild hangover. So far I went to the bakery, put up the Christmas/Holiday tree, played with the son, played with the PS3 while the little one was sleeping and now it's time to order me and the gf a kebap dinner. Have a good Sunday all! |

Why don't they call it a Yule tree instead of Christmas tree?
Morning all. Got a good nights sleep last night, unlike Friday night, so raring to go to get some work done so I can hopefully get out in the yard this afternoon. Supposed to be in the high 50's and sunny, so should be about perfect for yanking out the dead stuff in the garden, and planting more kale, lettuce and radishes that seem to survive even in this very cold weather we are having. Sales are sucking big time, I will be glad with Christmas is over and people are concentrated on porn and not gifts. Have a good one all!

Personally I think a porn membership is the perfect gift for mom and dad, grandma and grandpa too.

While not everyone would think it's okay to give a porn membership to someone, there are plenty of people in the world who talk with friends about porn, pornstars, porn sites, etc. They'd just need to make it one-time billing and let the buyer choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months for the gift. Then a way to enter the email address of the recipient and a message to go with it when the site sends the login info. A nice touch would be a "send on" date field that would start the membership and send the email on a future date entered by the buyer. Now that I think about it... this really is an added-revenue mechanism that all paysites should incorporate. The gifts could be for various holidays all year long. Okay, back to work now.
