How is Yahoo updating?
Is Yahoo updating it's index constantly or are they using a method like googles dance used to be?
I've seen some movement lately in yahoo, but i'm not sure how often they are updating. Anyone have any info on that? |

I don't know, but they have hammered one of my sites continually for the last 16 hours or so with only a two hour break in there. Something major is happening over there because I've seen a little activity on many of my other sites starting up.
So, I would suspect a major reindex soon.

Yahoo has been updating for a while, www.dateapornstar.co.uk got hit about 3 weeks ago - about 1200 pages twice in 2 days.
Damn good timing from my point of view as it was a 1 page site, 2 or 3 days before. steady traffic from yahoo.com now and the foriegn traffic is building too de.yahoo, ar.yahoo, etc Just got hit by Inktomi search yesterday, so we'll see where that leads. Cheers Pstar |
