How long should I wait to cancel my host?
I just checked my stats on my old server hits are still showing up. Barely any though, the last couple days it went from 667 down to 23 today. Should I wait to cancel my hosting until zero hits are registering or does it really matter?

I'd wait 72 hours after you know all the DNS entries have propagated. That's probably longer than you actually need, but I like to be a bit paranoid about that kind of stuff.

Took the hint.

72 hours should be fine. If you pay your hosting by the month, then I would tell them to cancel as of "end of month"... you might as well leave it there if it is free.
