From TV Guide...
"Lost [New] 8 pm/ET, ABC In last week's episode, did you catch who was on the TV in the background when Jin went to deliver that message? Hurley. Let's hope we find out why in tonight's "Hurley episode." Jorge Garcia's endearing portrayal of the character has mainly provided the comic relief for the mind-bending series, but here we find out he's not all fun and games. Seems back home he had some seriously good luck that went bad — and has an incredulous connection to the island, setting him off on a treacherous jungle trek." |

And now, to return to topic... How much did tonight's episode rock? Loved the sick, over-the-top humor combined with the ever-deepening mystery. (Dude falling past the window cracked me right up.) What does it all MEAN? Except for the obvious "42", of course... |

Did anyone watch MAD TV last Saturday? Funny because of what Greenie said earlier in this thread, I think. They were doing Lost and at the end, who comes out of the woods??? Jeff Probst from Survivor

Rock stars ... is there anything they don't know?
|
The guy falling past the window WAS a great shot, but Hurley's reaction was what really cracked me up. Major internalized wig... the big boy's a good actor. I just hope they have the Delenn chick (french lady) on more often now, maybe some kind of alliance. She's the only one who actually looks like she's been living on a deserted island, everyone else is pretty clean and well-groomed for having been there a while.

Missed the first 15 again. How pregnant is that gal by now? Did you see the numbers on the concrete at the end. Maybe we should use them for lottery numbers! When the Korean guy goes to sea with the rest, the fish will eat him. Don't know what giraffes mean, have to go read the other board to find out.

When Hurley finally met up with the "French woman" he asked her what the numbers meant, she said she didn't know so he "snapped" and talked about how bad life has gotten and he just "went with it" without question, and made the comment along the lines of "there's.... I don't know... a pissed off giraffe in the jungle eating people, but I didn't question it, I just went with it..."
Just made me laugh, it was up and down the best episode yet. |

BTW, I bet the combination of numbers will be the number one combination of numbers used in lotteries across the country for the next few weeks at least.

No offence Apu, but when they were handing out religions you must have been out taking a whizz
|
*grumble* six weeks of reruns started tonight before we get the next clue to the numbers...
Sweeps month ends and ABC goes Right back to their modus operandi that has kept them at #4 out of 4 in the network standings for a decade now.

it really is insane..... let's only show new episodes in sweeps month!!! what a brilliant idea!! That way our shows have no continuity and people will loose track of them and eventually stop caring and watching!!

My wife and I came to the conclusion last night that if the show just went away, we wouldn't notice.

|
I asked a girl to the movies tonight.. to see "Be Cool" and she preferred to have a quick drink at the pub, then race home to watch this stupid show... (without me)
I will always hate it for that reason no matter how good it is. |

This is the main reason I should just give up on regular network shows. Should stay with reality shows only. They don't take a break in the middle of a season. Sigh have to remember this next time I find a good show. I should just wait for the dvd to come out.

Well, my first thought was WTF is going on??? Anyway, it turned out to be an episode that I missed part of on the first/second time it was on, so it wasn't so bad.
But since they have gone back and we know what we already know, it's kind of funny to see things differently. Like when Walt told Hurley he owed him $20,000 for the backgammon games and Hurley said, "You'll get it", well, since he's worth mega millions, he's not lying! The other thing that stood out was when Charlie came back from the dead and he said he didn't remember anything - same thing Claire said when she got/gets back. Nina |

Found this on a news site
"Executive producer/creator J.J. Abrams and the cast held a special presentation recently where the creator confirmed long standing rumours that one of the cast will die and the episode will take place before the big finale. The season finale in May will be a two-parter, starting with a one-hour episode and concluding with a 90-minute installment, with the final half-hour airing commercial-free. Abrams dismissed the popularly held theory that the castaways are stranded in Purgatory, though he claimed to like the idea reports Zap2It. He confirmed that even he "would be an absolute liar if I said every single thing was planned out from the beginning"." |

So, I'm watching Hypercube on SciFi (again), and it occurs to me...are the creators of Lost fans of this flick?
In the first 20 minutes, we have a bunch of people thrown together under bizarre circumstances, a take-charge chick named Kate, a mysterious hanging, handcuffs, creepy noises, a series of numbers...hmm... |

Not a bad show, the commercials hyped it more then what it was....
At elast it was new and next week is new as well. |
