New site. Your thoughts? - foot fetish

Hi gang. Well the new site is now up and running. I went live on the 12th and I think I have the kinks worked out. Im waiting on the autorank to be installed for a "friends" links and have static links page for directories up already.

My question if you have time is Do you have suggestions for me as far as the tour.

I will be setting up ccBill for affiliates after new years and that will have a leak proof tour. The Visa approval is due this week.

Opinions? suggestions? ideas?

http://www.AngelsFeet.com

Thanks for your time! ~Angel~

The site looks good. The thing I like the most is that there are many things to check out .

The tour has many things to click on. I really like where it says 1300 hours for live cam.

As far as Improvement I don't see anything but I'm new so....My opinion doesn't really count.

Thank you for the feed back darlin. However, I think you may have been looking at heavenlycurves is where it says "1300 hours of live cams a month". I don't have that on my tour for AngelsFeet which is where I was asking for help. HC is 6 years old and hubby does it all there. AF is "my" baby. lol

I'm not sure I understand your point? Are you saying there should be more high heel samples on the tour? cuz Angel has plenty of heels

Im liking the site. And I know Toby likes it for sure - Feet are not my thing but you are beautiful and anyone visiting your site gets a feel that you love your craft and are very comfortable with yourself. As for the site, I think it sells well, keeps the viewer moving forward, "makes" them click ahead and gets them to the join page, my only suggestion is perhaps the thumbs on the site be a little larger. On your pictures tour page maybe where you have 3 side by side you could make a 4 square box and change them to 120x120 just a little extra fleshing out of those thumbs for those on higher resolution settings. Other than that. I think it looks great and wish you the best with it.

Wink Fleshing out huh?

Thanks Jester,
I had been thinking about that. I was trying to keep a nice tight look and wanted to be able to use the same thumbs for updates too and those are the ones I use in the member's area to click through to the galleries.

My thoughts have been straying as to how big to take them and if I should make more of them clickable to give a full sized sample. I wanted a streamlined update process but not give away the (I hate this term) "cow" for free.

Perhaps I'll pull the bonus Top 10 links on the home page and spread out the mini updates section.

I really appreciate the help. HUGS ~A~

It looks like a unique site with a niche that is not overcrowded. It does have a softcore look to it, especially at first before browsing around. This may or may not be the effect you indended, I don't know...just my first impression.

Thank you! It's not hardcore in the aspect that I don't play with men. However, it's full nudity and toy play. I'm revamping the pictures page so I'lll keep that in mind when picking the new teaser shots. I have a tendency to keep the harder stuff in the member's area.
HUGS Thanks for your time!

Hey Lady ~A~ - I think as far as the "tease" factor, leave the thumbs unclickable, you have the super sied samples there to do that. I was only thinking of just a bit more fleshed out thumbs on the preview picture pages, not too large and nothing that take away from the sites design. Maybe just go with 4 thumbs - 2x2 instead of 3 thumbs - 1x1x1. Otherwise I dont really see any issues that wouldnt sell the site at all (not that having small thumbs will not sell the site) This is all for "eye candy" but it doesnt take away the tease and draw of the site at all.

Ok I think things look better now. I didn't go too big, a 160 height and I did add 4 clickable picture samples. I was going to make them all clickable so thanks for reigning me in. lol
I also made one of the descriptions nudity and toy play so hopefully that will clear up the softcore issue.
Thanks all so much for the new eyes.
HUGS and Merry Christmas!

tour menu text

hmmm I use Firefox as well and my PCs are on 1024 x 768 , 1280 x 960 , 1600 x 1200 . My Mac is 1650 x 1080. The menu text seems small but clear and easy to read. What resolution are you running at?

Resolution shouldn't matter since your using CSS.

While it might look okay to you, not every one has great eye sight..

You asked..

What you talkin' 'bout Willis? If you set your font sizes in CSS, of course screen resolution is going to change their appearance. Text that would be huge at 800x600 would look normal to small at 1600x1200.

Looks fine to me in Firefox at 1024x768. Ronnie is an old blind man.

You can see the font size change with IE7 clicking view then text size, some laptops and smaller screens use the larger setting which makes the text look bigger.

I made that mistake before looking at one of my sites on a laptop and seeing it all messed up with large fonts.

so is the general consensus that I need to lock in a size and if so what? I have it at veranda 10 using DW I thought it would be consistent.

Just looking on the tour1 page the font sizes are overidden with font size"2", i think the equivalent is 12px but i'm sure someone with more knowledge of CSS would be better to advise.

They are set to style2 not font size=2. Within the CSS definitions style2 is set to Veranda 10 px, just as Angel noted, and that would be a fixed size in any browser.

It's overidden by this.. <font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

You can see it if you scroll down the source on tour1.

Ahhh, OK I see now. There are redundant tags, spans with CSS classes as well as font tags.

I was alway sunder the impression with css setting size, the size would remain the same no matter the resolution. Thought it was one of the ideas with css to have a consitent layout no matter the browser, rez, ect. Course setting can vary per user, changing defaults. But what do I know..

I normally use 12px myself.
