LL movie gallery; thumbs from vidcaps or stills?

What's the general preference for video thumnails. I've seen some rules that say "No vidcaps". Does that only apply to image galleries?

Just checkin' before I submit to LL for the first time.

Thank you.

I'd think that "No Vid Caps" applies to any & all images/galleries

So images that closely approximate the content of a video file are acceptable as thumbs for said file?

I'm just asking 'cause I'm kind of anal about doing things right.

When I first started submitting TGP galleries a couple of years ago, I got blacklisted by a major site owner on all his sites. When asked the reason for the blacklisting, the responce was, "You submitted on a Thursday, read the rules!". Well, all the rules said was; 1 gallery every 3 days.

Better to ask first, then submit later, me thinks.

Thanks for the reply Mister Green Guy. (Hey, that rhymes!)
