UFC owner buys out Japanese based PrideFC

I wonder why they don't stage those fights here in Vegas at the Station properties? I wonder if that has something to do with the gaming commission?? I know the Palms can't take wagers on basketballl because of the Kings/Maloof connection. But those brothers, the Fertittas are well connected here in Vegas -- Their dad Frank Sr. started the Bingo Station back in the 70's I think which is now Palace station part of maybe 7 hotels/casinos they own locally. Could make for some good fights, but Pride's always been the more brutal of the two, I wonder if it will get toned down now.

Preacher it sounds like the UFC rules will now be used for Pride too

no more knees on the ground or head stomping, the head stomping I wanted to see gone because it's too dangerous IMO but not the knees on the ground to the head, I think they should be allowed as it is one hell of a way to win a fight
