Sat Jun 20 Coronapolooza
Morning.
During a pandemic, thousands of fans are going to a rally in an enclosed area without social distancing or masks. What could go wrong? Oh yeah, Joe Rogan says "masks are for bitches". Joe Rogan is a fucking idiot. AC guy is coming to look at our system. It's cycling on and off too often. Other than that, it's working on my website and maybe watching golf on TV. With all the sports related COVID cases, it's less likely we'll see any sports this summer. This makes me sad. Have a good one! Last edited by ArtWilliams; 2020-06-20 at 08:30 AM.. |

Morning!
My PC continued to just be slow & freeze yesterday, so I decided to revert to before the last update. Of course, that failed My only option was basically to reinstall Windows, so I started that before I went to bed. It looks to have kept all my files, but now I have to reinstall all the programs. I am not in a good mood |

I've mentioned here on the board multiple times you should use good back up software.
My personal favorite is Acronis I love the fact that it can recover a single file, recover a program folder, or in Greenies case recover the whole system. There have been multiple times through the years that I have overwritten an excel file that I had mistakenly overwritten by accidentally saving rather then saving as...no problem, find the original file in the backup tree and restore a copy as the software will restore it right where it was backed up from. A program has corrupt files restore the originals from the day before. Or in Greenguys case restore the whole system from the last good state. Of course in that case, if there were any files you created since the backup you will lose those files (or changes) so if possible manually save those files you want to an usb or another drive first. What I do is a full backup once a week, with incrementals each day until the next full backup. |

I suggest daily rallies with minimum 25000 fans each day, elderly and obese fans get priority tickets, and everyone is encouraged to yell in each others faces for at least 2 hours.... PS: Socializing hell here, I keep trying to hide but they catch me |

Good Morning
We have had the June gloom for the past week and I quite enjoy it at this time. It's grey and cool out with high hitting low 70F. I need to outside to that other stuff before this all goes away and it becomes hot. So even though I'm sore from yesterday going to go out and hit it again today though I will probably take tomorrow off. Enjoy your Corona Rally Saturday! |
