We do almost all of our holiday shopping on line with as few trips to the actual brick and mortar as possible.....

So our 10 year old has been having joygasms over this robot called robosapien... they have several models but the one that seems to be on all the mini techojunkies brains is the V2.0 that stands 2 feet tall and can interact with several other robo--ahh--things

the cost for this thing is arounf $189. too much money as far as I am concerned for something that is going to end up being a very animated chew toy for my pack of wolves (we have three dogs)

so the wife has been trying her best to locate a 'deal' on one. Tried eBay and multiple searches on in the net... then finally, she saw it at Sharper Image
cost: $89 ( a full hundred bucks less then anywhere else)
and it is a signature series in the color Charcoal and it actually looks very cool. I said something like 'Sure, go ahead and get it for him' and we did.

when we recommended it to a friend, they said they couldnt find it on the Sharper Image website so we went there to help out our poor net illiterate friend.

the thing was gone!

I am guessing we benefitted from a typo on the site and they realized their mistake too late, either way my mini technojunkie is gonna have a pretty good Monday next week

any one else get any really good deals?

I got $200 off (1/2 price) a Pioneer Inno for XM Radio along with $130 worth of accessories that I needed (car kit, antenna headphones, $30 gift card)

This after I spent $400 on one in August

When I was holiday shopping yesterday, as I was checking out I noticed they had full size 8 oz. hershey bar for only 25 cents. I could NOT pass up that deal!
