Trying is the first step towards failure

#@!**, there goes "Net Neutrality."
ZD Tech News article HERE
Excerpt: *** By a 269-152 vote that fell largely along party lines, the House Republican leadership mustered enough votes to reject a Democrat-backed amendment that would have enshrined stiff Net neutrality regulations into federal law and prevented broadband providers from treating some Internet sites differently from others. *** Fucking "party lines." Pointy headed monopoly corporate supporting greed weasels. |

the repubs have two bases... the insanely zealous Christian far right and the insanely zealous Corporate far right.
to afford these two bases and the tax breaks they heap upon them, they HAVE to get the money somewhere, why not tax the crap out of the newest technology that very soon people will not be able to live without? case in point, my kids are sent home with homework assignments that require them to search the internet.... one is in gradeschool! I often ask myself what about the families out there that cannot afford the internet or even a computer? I guess they just get bad grades yeah tax it quick maybe no one will notice :-X spaz |

Donate money to your local democratic candidates for the fall election.
It's all about money - if you can't give money, you have no political power. |
