Mainstream Porn Article
Finally, a fairly thorough mainstream article about the 'War on Porn'.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9504659/ A bit long, but a good read. Gotta love the last line I recently purchased 3 domains to get our side of things out to the surfing public. Yea, grand plans...I know In looking at it, there's no way I'm going to have the time to do it. But, if anyone who will actually develop these wants one...I'll transfer the domain to you...no cost. I'd just like to see these domains get developed...let the surfers know what's going on. Get them sending letters/e-mail to their congressmen/senators. Let the politicians know their voting public has zero interest in funding this so called war. If someone else will spend the time to develop one of these domains, I'll transfer it to you immediately. But, the site needs to be updated with new information as it becomes available. Tell the surfer to get their opinion to their political representatives. Bloggers, this should be a great match for you. I'll link to the domains. Hell, I'll use up a sponsor link on some of my free sites to get the message to the surfers. I would hope other free site builders will give up some sponsor links as well. That is, assuming other link site owners will still list sites with a sponsor link used for this purpose. I's like to pop the link in a new window so surfers can get back to their porn. That may be a sticking point with some list owners. Opinions from other link site owners? I'll also provide linkage from my link list. Again, I would hope some other link list owners would provide some linkage as well. Let's get these domains listed in the serps...get our customers involved as much as possible. Let the religious right know it's 2005 and long past time for them to get out of peoples sex lives. Okay, here's the domains... save-porn.com saveporno.com savepornography.com Note: There should be none/zero/nada ads on these domains. These are stictly for posting links to articles about this attack from the religious right/current admin. And webmaster text (either by the webmaster managing the site, or other webmasters he/she knows) about what's going on. Again, NO advertising...this isn't about making money. This is about getting our customers involved. I'll say it one more time, this isn't about making money...which is why I'll GIVE you one of the domains. Since this is a US based issue, and no offense to my foreign peers, but it would be best if anyone interested is a native english speaker, has decent writing skills and is known on this board. That should provide some peace of mind to those linking to the domains that they won't later be turned into a link farm. We want our customers to see us as business people, not as the scum protrayed by the administration. We want them to see us as providers of adult entertainment...period. If anyone has the time/interest to actually follow through on developing one of these domains, hit me up via pm or mail. mryum(at)free-porn-post(dot)com Thank yu fer yer support |

porn is bad.... bad bad bad!
the "War on Porn" is getting knocked around pretty good with some of the mainstream media.... it has been one of Leno's favorite topics the last few nights and is starting to become a laughing stock, hopefully it will keep getting exposure... I was trying to reg those save-porn domains the other day MrYum I reg'd protectporn.com but I am in the same boat as far as having the time to build the site properly... if we did have one central site that everybody in the industry could link to it might go a long way in helping the cause

"Maybe that special FBI squad should plant porn inside terrorist cells. You know, keep 'em busy." I wonder if Pat Robertson would support sending porn to Venezuela

Yea Kinky...good to see some of this getting out to the public. Especially responsible articles like the one attached
I beat you to the domains and neither of us has the time...figures It certainly couldn't hurt the cause...that's for sure. I'm asking some folks behind the scenes if anyone wants these domains too. Hopefully, someone will step up that does have the time and desire. Yea, loved that last line SirMoby I can think of other much warmer places to send ol Pat instead of sending porn anywhere...lol |

Good article Mr. Yum. We do need more exposure like that. With all the natural disasters happening in the US and the governments lack of handling them to the publics acceptance, now is a great time to expose everything they are wasting money on. Including trying to put us out of business.

Guys, guys, my domain name and subsequent revolution is totally better than yours: PussyPolitics.com
On a more serious note, Trixie and I are working on a site to confront the issue of menstruation in porn, or lack thereof, as we struggle to find billing agents for our period sites. |

Nice to see the mainstream getting more into this. Even a Joey episode mentioned that every guy has a porn folder on their computer. |

wait..let me remove that "we" business.. *ducking from chop throwing a pillow at me*.. anyway this would decrease the load on any 1 person to carry it or research articles etc.. then write a positive editorial .. like a counter point to the main stream BS.. |

Hopefully the American public will understand that every dollar spent fighting porn between consenting adults is a dollar taken away from fighting things like The War on Terror, Corporate Fraud and CP.
I guess those things just aren't important issues. Did you know that congress approved more money to fight porn this year then they did to fight corporate fraud? You know the type of fraud that cost millions thier retirement funds. |

The blog is a great idea Doc
Spreading the work around certainly is a way to get the message out without it being overly burdensome on any one webmaster. If it helps get some folks to step forward, I'll host the domain on one of my servers...and oversee it to ensure there are never any ads added to the site. That said, I've never done any blogging so have no idea how to set it up. I would however be happy to set the domain up and give someone I know enough access to my server to set up the blog and get things under way. Glad to see some folks have an interest in getting the word out |

The thing is, I'm not making the site to upset people, it's not something I did for shock value to try and be the next Meat Holes or Sleep Assault, and I got the feeling from your post that you were congratulating me for doing something weird just to upset people. |
