Wouldn't that just make it easier to find porn?

Anyone else hear duelling banjos off in the distance?
I've said it before and I'll say it again... if you want to "protect" children put content for them in their own special place... this Internet thing was made for us adults... just because kids know more about computers than the average parent means squat... Reviewed and rated and sanitised (of course) by a panel of concerned fuckwits, citizens, do-gooders etc... I'd gladly chip in a small levy from every dom I own to make it so... If only they'd shut the fuck up! And here's the rub... they'll never be able to agree on what's appropriate for kids either...

Another moronic attempt to move porn into a small red light style ghetto so they can throw a fence around us and block access.
Can you imagine Utah passing a law forbidding ISPs that do business in the state from passing information on the "porn port"? Can you imagine the general restriction that this would bring to freedom of speech, impeding the flow of sexual material that even the DoJ has admitted is legal? The problem with porn is that individual citizens choose to view it, and Utah doesn't want that decision left to ignorant and stupid individuals when the church-state can think for them. Alex |
