Morning!

I've got sooooo many last minute Xmas gifts to buy today & I am REALLY dreading the thought of hunting around for stuff, filling my cart & then waiting in line to checkout on Amazon because with Prime, I've gotta get those buttons pressed & fast for my free 2-day delivery on Monday!

I'm actually done shopping, but I do want to finally tackle a couple of lingering things on the To Do List for the house & surprise The Bitch when she gets home from work tonight.

Until she leaves, I'll be working

We got our Christmas ham, and most of the trimmings. Christmas eve is at the inlaws this year, so we don't have any decorating to do here or even much cooking. She will do all of that for us. Lots of work to be done, couple of galleries to build, but that is the normal thing these days.

As to buying stuff.. I simply don't. I made and sent ornaments to a number of friends and family. We sent a nice basket from Harry and David to my mom. We picked up sweets for the Husband's parents. He and I don't exchange gifts. I tell him I don't need anything because I have him.. and I really do mean that. I love the Scandinavian tradition of just giving small gifts - a pair of warm socks or gloves, a special food treat or sweet. All that shopping does is make the retailer richer and give the recipient something to put on the shelf (or return later). Sometimes the gifts are cool, but usually.. well, not really.

I did forget to mention that I got the drone pics that the solar company took of the panels on my roof & they are really cool. I'll post them all to FB later, but other than the 360° one you have to view on FB, this is my favorite:

G'day

Grumpy and shitty mood here.
I've finished my xmas prepping, since I don't celebrate and the gifts are delivered.
I will buy myself some xmas food later though.

I'm grumpy because internet and TV went down around 6am.
They will not be able to fix it before January 4th!!!

So I had to invest in a 4G router, but mobile-data is expensive, so I can't really do much.
I guess I'll use the xmas to do offline work, like building pages and stuff.
Update blogs should be possible, uploading tons of pics for galleries isn't that much of an option.

Oh, and I'm hooked on Red Dead 2, so it's that ...

Good morning everyone

Woke up with a pounding headache before 5am so I got up, took advil and got on the laptop, oh joy! Been working since but not planning to go too much longer as I'm going to visit my Mom in the hospital again around lunch time. She is suppose to get out tomorrow and I fly home in the morning

We go nuts without our net. I still have a rental mobile router that we use from time to time to connect on the rare occasions our power is out. Haven't had our net go down, thankfully. We both also have smart phones that can at least access things. Can't work, but we can connect. I am with Ramster - I would be going postal about now.
