Directory Depth and SE ranks

Hi,
If the subdirectories for free site goes into more depth will it reduce its chances of getting good rank?
Example,
domain.com/01/freesite/blonde/
will get very less rank compared to
domain.com/01/blonde/

Also which of the following will be ranked higher?
domain.com/teens.html
or
domain.com/teens/

Like to hear your thoughts on this big bros.

NEo,

You will get varying opinions on this one..

but IMO it makes no difference...

If we are talking about Google it is dependent on incming/outgoing links and text in the page.

Thank you DD.
I know when it comes to google many things are unpredictable. Just would like to know your experience on this.

I don't think it makes a difference, other than I would say not to dig your hole too deep if possible.
