What Makes A Quality Free Site?

Link List owners, and reviewers what makes a quality free site? Is it the sales text, the graphics, the look, what do you consider a quality free site?

Second; how do you write good sales text, I mean what inspires you? Do you like the hardcore sales text or the softer side? Examples and ideas are more that welcome. Any good web sites for learning to write sales text?
(I think this would help quite a few people besides myself)

Any good tips for making a good free site? Besides the obvious like read and obey the rules, picture quality etc.

I suggest you hit google with "copywriting" keyword and start from there.

Writing good sales text is not really an "inspirational" thing. There are rules which can help you write good pitch even when you don't feel like writing.

In adult copywriting for web, you need to have very strong copywriting skills, because people who visit such sites are looking for pics/vids and not to read (in general).

I believe that sales text on adult site should be very short and to the point and very persuasive.

Well, I think the purpose of a free site is to make sales, and I hope the reviewer likes it so it gets listed.

For me it's variety, variety, variety. Even though most everyone uses templates to some extent, change up the text on the page, the ad text, the metas if you use them, the order of the recips, etc. It just doesn't take that long. Google hates duplicate content, and I'm very reluctant to list sites that are too templated. Other than that I'm not too concerned with the way the site looks (as long as it doesn't make me want to jab pencils in my eyes

)

Sales text is your deal. Hard, soft, I don't care. And I don't think anyone's going to be able to tell you what works best as it's different for everyone, depending on your niche, your sponsor, your traffic sources, etc. Experiment, keep good notes, and you'll get a feel for what works.
