Wednesday June 17th (aka More PC Hell)
Morning!
Ever since last week's fun-filled Windows update my PC has been acting wonky (technical term). It gets really slow at times & File Explorer has been all FUBAR. At 1st it was just warnings about some Intel error, but everything worked so I just assumed/hoped the problem would go away Yesterday File Explorer started to simply freeze anytime I right-clicked a file. So today I rebooted a couple times, checked for more Windows updates, etc. Finally decided to use the Google & found this: How to Resolve Intel® Optane™ Memory Pinning Error: 'Unable to load DLL ‘iaStorAfsServiceApi.dll'' Encountered So I'm trying that now My chiro hired/added a stretchologist (doctor of stretching) so I gave that a 30 min try yesterday to see how it helps my back. I was sure I'd be hurting today from having all those muscles I haven't moved in 15 years jostled about, but nothing. I think I'll go once a week & see what happens Just work today...assuming this thing lets me |
