Non-sponsors' content questions.

I personally never understood this. Granted we have a few affiliates who make sales from galleries and freesites with other content, but why would you want to advertise a site with content that is not in the members area? what if the surfer joined hoping to see the rest of that picture set or a video?

The main issue is that if everyone used the sponsor's content
then surfers would be seeing the same old pics over and over
again and get tired of it.

Imagine if your favorite LL was flooded with sponsor content.
On each new content update from sponsors, LL owners would
be flooded with galleries that all have the same pics.

Paid content adds diversity and provides content that surfers
may not have seem(and therefore more likely to go to your
sponsor). As for not finding the same content in the member's
area, the basic idea is that they'll likely find some other model
that they like and completely forget about the gallery they
just saw.

Naturally more expensive paid content is rarer. So in many
cases, cheap content is overused(since it's cheap and
many webmasters are out there looking for the cheapest
paid content). That's basically the way it is.

That would mean that there too many damned free site builders and that the link list reviewers aren't doing their job.

Again, the fault of the reviewer.

If you want to promote a sponsor and you feel that their content is over used, contact them and let them know. Ask if they plan on releasing anything new. They might be able to let you in the members area to grab what you want. Or they might not.

One of the other the problems with purchased content is that it can be difficult to find anything that matches a paysite's theme. (Everything seems to have some sort of reality spin these days.)

In my opinion, the return on free sites doesn't make it worthwhile to spend my money on content. Especially if it isn't going to quite mesh with the site being promoted.

Purchased content is good if you are promoting products like toys and pills.

Couldn't have said it better - I'm a fuckin perv and I still buy porn - nothing pisses me off more than to see some |pissrightsexy slut|pissleft| getting pissed on and when I buy the membership, she ain't on the site - then I just get pissed-off.

If sponsor content is overused, try one of the less used sponsors.

At GMP, we are workin very hard to provide great material to our affiliates - banners that match the content, tours that match the banners etc.... and it's past midnight and I still have a days work ahead of me.... Excuse me if I cant myself, I can still my own horn...
