Chinese Democracy
Anyone else stupid enough to spend $ on this like me?
I haven't even listened to it yet and I already think its the biggest POS I've spent $ on in a long time since it has ZERO album info meaning I had to rename every song in Itunes and my hard drive so I know WTF it is. Now I am not even sure I want to listen to it. From one Lafayette boy to another, Fuck you Axl. |

I have given this a listen and I can say that there is not one single thing I like about this CD its total crap. It shows how much its a band thing not just a singer.

I went to the gym today, I put this on and worked out for over a hour and still only got to 12 of 14 songs and all I could think of while it was playing was...
Why won't this fucking album end? At it's best, its ho hum. |

It's no wonder it took 14 years to record. Axl was exercising musical alchemy, trying to turn shit into gold. The tracks are mediocre and no amount of production will change that. The tracks are over polished and feel like disparate parts stitched together by his vocals. And it's not even rock.
And one track in particular sounds like a James Bond theme song. The Gn'R name should have been retired. It's own hype crushed it. I'm disappointed.
