What % of your users have Cookies disabled?

I was checking my stats and noticed:

"Visitors Not Accepting Cookies 14.32%"

Mainstream non adult sites seem to be around 2%-5% users don't accept cookies- from my experience.

Is this pretty typical for adult sites? People seem to crank up security settings and personal firewalls when vsiiting adult sites.

There's a basic distrust out there...so it seems.

In a thread I replied to Cleo about my friend not wanting me to click on any Adult sites at GreenGuys's Link-o-rama for fear of 'gettign a bunch of shit on my computer" no matter what I told him.

So, I mention to my friend in E-mail about my adult site- asking her to check it out. She replied:

It's amazing- I mean...she's known me since '96 and should know I wouldn't do that. It seems an automatic perception people take on that Adult=Scumware and people are highly guarded when surfing adult sites. I guess- with good reason.

I also get to watch ordinary people surf when I'm doing computer consulting.

Most of these people are Mac uses so they don't even know about having their home pages changed or spyware issues, but they do really believe that just going to a porn site will result in them getting your e-mail resulting in all kinds of spam. Most of them are now using a browser with popup blocker so they don't seem to care about popups no more.

They pretty much blame all their spam on visits to adult site.

Yea I get that shit all the time, when someone hears im into the adult side of the i-net they always say something like "you the one sending me all those fucking spam e-mails" or "why the fuck do you pop all those ever lasting popup consoles?" I tell em im not doing it, its spam bitches that dont know how to build real sites.....ok, that ya can have consoles on own internal stuff and 404's but some guys seem to pop 10 of em on tgp gallerys.....idiots.....
