Looking for input, anyone use a spider to collect galleries?

Some TGP/MGP software is able to spider galleries and then add them into the database.

Looking for feedback on this page: (4000+ clean permanent mixed TGP/MGP galleries)

1. Does it work with your spider?
2. Are all 4000+ galleries added?
3. Any comments?

Why use a spider? If you need more galleries then sign up with a few sponsors who offer fh galleries. That way you get commission if any of the galleries sell something. Look at any list of sponsors (eg the one on this site) you will be able to find more than enough sponsors with galleries to fulfil your needs.

Wouldn't delimited file be easier to load into a TGP script? That way I could get my affiliate code in the galleries.

You don't use a spider, I understand that. However, I am looking for feedback from TGP/MGP owners that do...

We all have Free Hosted Galleries...
4000+ FHG in CSV, Tab, Pipe delimited, categories, descriptions, whatever you need!

Yep, we have that too! - 4000+ Free Hosted Galleries in any format you like!

Spiders are used by TGP/MGP owners to get filler galleries from other TGP/MGP sites so they don't have to review them.

Sorry, thought you were a TGP site owner looking for suggestions on what to use. I did not realise you were asking for feedback on software you had written.

I know about those spiders and most owners that do reviews take serious offense to sites that steal thier work.

1. A number of TGP owners block sites that spider so you may not find many spider sites openly giving out information on public boards.

2. Personally I don't care if you do this but you may find a very cold reception from many larger traffic sites if you are promoting to the people that steal thier hard work.
