New Year's Eve 2014!

Okay so the whole day isn't "New Years Eve" but you get it. Using "the day before New Year's day" isn't as catchy.

A little bit of work this morning then I'll be goofing off for a bit. Will test some eCommerce stuff starting tomorrow...

Happy New Year, if you're on the other side of the world! Where's Dangerous Dave when you need him? Or Grandma Scrotum?

My wife and I have a new tradition of seeing two movies on New Years. We must be old farts because we are going to an afternoon and early evening show so we can get home before midnight. No late movies for us.

Other than that, I think I will clean the house and make a gallery or two.

Just a day of more of the same before going out tonight to party with the drunks.

The tunnel digger showed up this morning to start filling the tunnel back in, he whistles while he works.

Just another day behind this old desk for me. The ex is taking the kids to her brother's for some sort of NYE party, so I will be alone tonight with the dogs, Chinese food and the Xbox.

Otherwise, it's just another day in my little hell.

Im spending eve with my lovely better half, my daughter and mother in law. Maybe later we will pop up at my neighbour for a drink and happy new year wish.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Coming home from the station is a 20 to 25 minute walk. In that time I passed three sets of police cars attending three different "incidents". And this was at about 6pm local time, so no one had got time to get really drunk yet! God only knows what it will be like come midnight!

I passed one "incident" where a cop was trying to calm down an irate witness/perp (not sure which). The witness/perp was being a complete asshole, and I could see the cop was starting to crack and loose his cool. There was no way he was going to make it to gone midnight, when his shift finally ends, poor guy.

Me, I'm staying in tonight, watching Amazon TV and the New Year's Eve special of "Mock The Week" (a satirical news quiz) on "proper" TV. I'm not alone, I've got a nice big bottle of Scottish whisky. And if that runs out, I'll call on my two good friends Mr Jack Daniels and Mr Johnnie Walker.

And I don't intend to go out tomorrow either. I'll wait until Friday morning, then I'll go outside and see what is left of the town!
