Morning
It will be a spooky day in the neighborhood with no power still. Took a walk yesterday and I see that two poles are snapped off west of me so those will need to be replaced before I have power again but even before that the grid that feeds my neighborhood is still down too. At least I have phones and internet which is more then what a lot of my neighbors have. Espresso is on |

Morning guys & Happy Halloween,
Felt kinda unmotivated last night... so I went to Blogspot, created a new blog and ranted my ass off there trying to clear my head. Now I'm feeling pretty good. Just need to boil water for some fresh coffee. (Cleo, I hope your hand is feeling better)

"Happy Samhain" and stuck a big bowl of fruit roll ups in front of it... was a good marketing ploy cuz so many people stopped to ask what Samhain is.. and smelled the aroma of a nice 'spiced pumpkin'.. i think i need to put up more signs with funky words on them. Anyway.. enough rambling trivia.. should have posted that in my blog.. Off to the Automotive Aftermarket show today to see all the latest and greatest gadgets for your hoopty. have a good one!! |

Mornin' all
Quiet day here, looks to be a rainy day again. This area is sort of a no-kids zone, so the advice we give all new neighbors (same as given to us when we got here): "For Halloween candy, make sure to buy stuff *you* like." More storm clean-up today. Still have lots of downstairs furniture and things to pile in the trash. Trick or Treat, Wilma... Trick or Treat. Simon

Greets, good peoples!
Going to try to knock work out of the way early today. The munchkin's Darth Vader outfit is ready, so there are no stresses on that front. When he gets in from school, we'll need to get his homework done right away. We are going to a fish fry at the school, then to a Halloween parade, and wrapping up by going trick or treating. I hope he gets some good candies. I've been having a fearsome sweet tooth lately, and normally sweets aren't my thing. |

The real fun of getting injured is dealing with the insurance companies, not.
The good news is because of the hurricane there is a lot of exceptions about seeing doctors that are not part of my participating doctor list and many fees and stuff have been waived so this isn't going to cost me much at all. Now if I can just get this fucking splint to stuff driving me fucking half insane… |

Happy Samhain/Halloween/All Hallow's Eve!!!
I don't think I'm doing anything very Halloweenie today. I went to a party on Saturday night in full costume and kind of wore myself out. Today for work I'm wearing my old Prom dress, cause it looks kind of Cinderella-ish, and I figured I could get away with it, but after work, I'll probably just go home, get something to eat, watch a movie, and go to bed. |

Happy trick or treat day!! What sucks is my kids are all to old to go out any more. I miss the days when they would come home with pillow cases full of candy!! My grandson is going out but he's only 2 so will only go to a few houses. He will be superman tonight!
Damn the Bucs what the hell was that game all about?? This was not a happy house during that game. Tons of yelling and cussing going on. I think our season is about to go in the trash can. Ahh well it's not like I'm the used to the Bucs sucking. I have too many years of that already.. Have a nice day all and enjoy the trick or treaters!! |

Happy Sommen everybody!
"Som-men" is how you pronouce Samhain, the ancient European holiday on which Halloween is based. (Or at least one of the ways it has been pronounced.) Luce the cat is still alive, 7 weeks after the vets told us he would be dead. We just started giving him Bupinex, bupinorphin, a painkiller type of thing, and he has been so happy and purring and relaxed and full of fun all weekend. He is outside hunting, it's a warm beautiful fall day here, so it's a Happy Sommen indeed for us. I gotta build some pages and do some outdoor work. |
