Thinking of you and your family greenguy! Suicide is one thing that should never happen. Living longer then your children is another!
I hope that there is some way to be at peace with his choice although I know it will be a long time before you can do that. I have a 16 year old son who seems to place a lot of stress on himself, this serves as a reminder for me to check in with him on things as best a mom can. Thats really all we can do as parents, kids will do as they wish with their lives...good or bad. All I could think of was that this really stinks for all of you but mostly for this young boy that will not know all of lifes pleasures! Hope you all stay strong and God Bless! Susanna

Thank you to everyone that came into town, posted, emailed, sent cards, flowers, food...even to those of you that were too emotional to do anything.....it is all very appreciated.
I did come to realize that I don't co-workers or even friends here on the board & in the webmaster community. Karen & I have another family here & we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. |

I am truly sorry to hear that...my deepest condolences to you and your family!
I'm sure all of us understand it'll take time to recover enough from such tragedy to get back to work...take time off and spend it with your family...they're the ones that'll truly support you in such a situation. I've never experienced such a tragedy, but when I had to leave my house, sell my car, and get a regular job I found out who and what really matters....family! I'm sorry to hear about that, Greenguy.
Suicide is such a tough one on friends and families, because it never makes sense. A childhood friend of mine killed himself about 3 years ago. The only "explanation" anyone could make out of it was that he was probably having a hard time coming out gay. Trying to find answers and logic with suicides could drive you crazy if you let it. Sometimes in life, some things will never make sense. Don't feel obligated to "stay strong", cry and scream and get things out if it will make you feel better. |
