Happy New Year's Eve
Well, my much deserved vacation starts today. No wait, that was last week I will be here all day, I think. But, with the most festive holiday upon us, who knows?

Warm, windy, and raining here this morning.
Traffic, the kind that you drive in not the kind that makes us money, is worse then I have ever seen here. Not sure what is up with that but driving is just plain annoying the last few days and our season doesn't officially start until next month. Where are our flying cars? I was told that we would drive flying cars in the twenty first century. I was planning on biking down to the beach today but our weather has decided differently so I guess it is plan B and stay home, work, and make money. Espresso is on in my new pretty kitchen. |

Happy new year
Most cities here in Sweden has cancelled all fireworks shows, due to the catastophy. The general mood isn't too good either. I will be spending new years eve on a bus up to Stockholm and the Sri Lankan embassy. I'll stay there until the 3rd and assist with all the supplies they are sending to Sri Lanka. Not a typical new years, but at least it will be more useful than going to a bar Have a great evening everyone and be safe. |

8:06 and I have my first cup of coffee on my desk. Why is it, no matter if I get up at 7am or noon, it still feels too early to be awake?
I have to go and help my father get some lumber this morning for one of his projects. It's always nice spending the morning with the man who made me into the sick unit that I am today. Joy for joy.

I love pizza in the morning
Apple computer is rumored to be at long last finally releasing a cheap iMac with no monitor in the under $600 price range next month. If this mock up is correct I want a pink one. In a search to try to find out if my younger brother is alive and well I called my niece who lives in Connecticut to she if she has heard from him. We got talking and she asked me if anything that I sold included DVDs and Toys so I sent her a link for my sex toy store. Today I see that she bought herself some toys. lol The sun is coming out here so maybe it will be a nice day after all. I really feel like biking or maybe seeing if I am able to play Racket Ball again. Basically anything that gets me out of the house and into some fresh outdoor air would be nice. |

Morning all a busy day and weekend for me. I am working till about 2 and then going to my in-laws for the weekend, then driving down to Detroit on Sunday and staying the night so we can catch our flight on Monday morning at like 6am.
This means we need to get packed today and take everything with us ( why do I have a feeling we will forget something important ) Well the temp has warmed up here to around 45 degrees and all of our snow has melted, yet 3 idiots seem to be on the lake ice fishing still. The ice is melting on top so it looks like they are walking on water. Some people amaze me when they are so stupid to go out on thin ice like that. The sun is shining though (rare for Michigan this time of year) and its only a half day, what could be better Have a safe and happy new years everyone and get home safe if you are going out. See you in 2005 (and/or in Vegas next week). Andy |

Absolutely a perfect day here. 75F light winds and bright sunny sky, made our bike ride almost perfect. Now if only the other 1000 people had stayed home instead of going to the park we ride in, it would have been perfect. It’s Dec 31, and I am riding a bike in shorts and tank top.... this is the reason I moved to FL. |

Happy that day before the day that counts but we party on this day instead.
Still working on the house cleaning, office cleaning, and general cleaning. Asian culture says you should enter the new year clean and mostly in a solomn manner. In Japan, New Years Day is the day to go to one of the major shrines and remember your ancestors and friends who may have passed away. It is a quiet time, not a party at all. In mainland China, they celbrate New Years like we celebrate Christmas (the government frowns on those christian holiday things). So many of my mainland chinese friends are having a double wooptie-wow party tonight. I am not sure what I am up to. Some of my "friends" tried to corrupt me into have a two day party at my house, which I declined (work to do, things to get done, and I gotta leave on Monday). So I haven't made any other plans yet, which is probably a good thing. It's freezing rain and rain today, going to get much colder and turn it all to ice by morning. Plus some snow. Bonus. It will be a good night to stay home and avoid the wobblers behind the wheel. Happy New Year everyone... may 2005 bring you everything 2004 couldn't manage :-) Alex |
