Any input on LinkX for a LL?

I am planning to start a LL and was thinking of using the script LinkX from JMB, anyone that has some feedback to give me on that script?

A little update, I went away and bought the script. The installation was very simple and was done in 10 min. The script has some nice features like having premium sites on top of regular listings etc. The only thing is the template system the script has, but after playing around with the layout I think I will get to do what I want with it.

Anyway, you can see how I have set it up by default here,

I've beta tested it for a few months and have to say for a low-end link list site, it might work ok. I've used a lot of scripts and played with several on test sites and I have to also say I am very disappointed in JMBSoft's LinkX. I've used all of their scripts and I was dumbfounded as to why they created such a limited script and why they didn't build it to the level they have with their other famous scripts. When I see the script and the admin of LinkX it's like, JMBSoft built this? It just doesn't seem like it's up to their standard quality.

Harsh I know...If you are serious about a quality long term link site, I would not use this one. Xpowerlinks is one possibility, there are a few I integrate into CMS sites, but I am sure others here will provide some alternate options.

Thanks for your feedback Xeno, I agree that there are some limitations that I don’t quite understand. But, I have just started to use it so I cannot say much more than, so far it does what I want it to do, but I think that time and how the script develops will tell if it’s a stable LL script to use in the long run.

What's the limited part of LinkX, also what's wrong with admin interface?

I have only used it a couple of days, but the limitations that I found to bothering me are the lack of controlling the submissions and updates.

But, we should also remember that this is just the version 1.0, so it's natural that there are stuff that could and should be improved.
