I meant to say that the huge media interest in the contestants when they leave the house can give them a false sense of importance, when the interest dies down it can, and has in my friends case left a huge void. She also suffers every year when the new show comes on from more Media digging. Nichola has been out of the Porn industry for over two years and only appeared on my site because we are friends... I in no way consider working in escorting or as a porn actress as a demeaning job....Hell we have sex...and make money...I LOVE IT xx |

I saw some pics from BB UK this morning with lot's of juicy nudity.
Too bad the US version of BB doesn't go that far.

At one end of the scale Buffy and The Simpsons get censored before broadcast, some episodes never get shown at all, and there are 4 episodes of the original 1060s Star Trek series that have never been shown over here at all because they are deemed unsuitable. Then at the other end we have broadcast stations that show soft porn (I mean unencoded terrestrial, the same kind as your CBS, Fox, etc, not satellite channels), One chat show host, who takes great delight in using 'fuck' and 'cunt' whenever he can, recently showed a video of his anal examination on his show (film from the camera that goes up your ass). A lot of the jokes on British TV are very obscene. And even I was shocked at an long scene of a woman being anally raped on TV a couple of years back. Yet while I watch all this, I banned from watching some episodes of The Simpsons and Star Trek because they are deemed unsuitable for public viewing. Go figure. |

Who's up to date with BB All Stars?
Thankfully my DVR records it for me and I get caught up once a week or so. It's much better than I thought it would be under the "all stars" format.

UK BB just finished. I did not watch the series, but apparently it was won by a guy with tourette's syndrome. Nice programming, 19 weeks of some guy who cannot help himself, continually swearing on television.
Not sure which is worse, the idea of pushing a show by finding a way of filling it with bad language, or the idea of pushing a show with 'laugh at the guy with the funny disability' policy. |
