Good Morning...and damn, it is still morning
Starting to feel good these past few days. I am actually sleeping in my own bed, no longer live only in my office and after losing almost 60 pounds, I am now eating like a normal person. Something big must have happened this weekend to start to snap me out of this "depression". Anyway, for those that wonder, I do feel much, much better. Back to work... |

Power just went out here... no rain, no wind, underground wires. Neighbors across the street have power, the bastards! FPL says 2480 are affected in our outage.
Oh, now the wind and rain comes. FPL was being proactive. I'll take a picture of the flooding. Looking at the grass on the tires of the truck, evidently the water level was 8" higher than it is now. But, that's probably because the storm drain just couldn't drain the water out fast enough. Even though the drain is full and as the wind blows, the water sloshes in and around, its still considerably lower than the truck tires.

FPL says my power has been restored but oddly no little electron things seem to come out of their wires.

Finally its “Going on a Vacation Day!”
We leave at 3pm today to fly Curacoa via SFO via MIA and by this time Wednesday we will be on a beach drinking free booze and eating free sushi and smoking Jamacian weed. Hopefully Fay wont slow us down, some of our friends who we are meeting in Curacoa have been delayed 24-48 hours already, but that serves them right for trying to get 2 extra days. This is the first time in a long time that I can honestly say, we need this fucking vacation and it’s the first time we have gone to an all inclusive resort so I can’t wait seeing how much free sushi and booze I can intake. No clue if I will be online after today, so everyone have a good week. |

According to the reports, none of the airports in South Florida are experiencing much in the way of delays, so, Torn, you should be good to go.
News choppers have been hovering overhead surveying the damage from the Tornado that hit a few miles away. Can't read the markings on the one, but I suspect its one of the local stations -- the other is our local Fox affiliate.

Hi all. I'm still playing catch up which will keep me busy for quite a while although we were out most of today with those folks from LA. Sometimes you need to take a break
Torn: Emmy and I hope you both have a great break |
