Thursday 2024-02-15 aka Facelift

Morning.

Greenie, you don't need a facelift. You look perfect the way you are.

Yesterday, I worked on a WordPress site that had a streaming live event. The part I was responsible for went off without a hitch. In fact, the whole thing went smoothly.

I'm having my regular lunch out this week and then heading to my BIL's for a couple of hours after that. I'm coming up with a strategy to minimize my time there by having the retirement home staff do more while we wait for a LTC bed. (That could take months or years in Ontario!) It will cost him money but his condo sale is about to close so that's fine. For instance, I can take him out once a week for blood work or have a nurse at the home do it for C$50. No brainer, the nurse does it. He's paying and that saves 2+ hours of my time.

Lately, I've felt like I'm always playing catch up. That what I'm doing now. Just going through stuff to see what's urgent. I do feel a little less frantic today though.

Tonight, it will be some TV but I don't know what it will be.

Just returned from the vet where Rupert has a clean bill of health.

Busy with work this week and into the weekend.

Sunny skies and warmer temps. Spring cannot come fast enough for me.

G'day

It's been dry for some months, but I've got some more articles to write now, so I'll be a bit busy with that too.
Some of the mags I write for are free ones, so when they don't get enough ad-income, well ... you know.

It's winter holiday over here, so my GF and will stay at her place while her son is skiing in the mountains.

is fine, at least she's full of energy.
