Happy Super Bowl Sunday
The day is finally here, it's Super Bowl Sunday
Been working so far this morning and plan to keep going another 2 hours then I have an errand to run then it's Sunday Funday time starting with cards at a friends then the big game. Go Patriots! I'm no die hard fan but how can you not cheer for one of the most amazing accomplishments in modern day sports? 9 Super Bowl appearances in 18 years! This is not the NBA where teams create super teams or baseball where there's no cap and the rich teams can sign all the good players. The NFL is the most even league there is, Brady is simple great. |

Morning!
I may or may not be sick. I keep getting a fever, so I pop some meds & it goes away for a couple hours. No other symptoms...yet I've been filling out forms for The Bitch & my stepdaughter for about 2 hours now in prep for the kidney transplant next Monday. NY State offers Paid Family Leave so The Bitch can get some income while she's off taking care of her for a month or so. I haven't started on my stepdaughter's paperwork, but there's 7 Word docs & I think each are multiple pages Hoping to squeeze in some legit work before The Big Game |

GO RAMS!
Honestly I don't give a rats ass about the NFL but since I'm the only one in here with a home team in the Super Bowl I think I should route for them. I was going to just work through it all but my son and his fiance are coming over so I guess I get a break from working. Enjoy your Sunday Sunday Sunday! |

I was stunned -- we got to watch it live at like 2am. No commercials, Finnish commentators the first quarter, but hey, it was free. I can't tell you how cool it was to see an actual game. My husband likes the game enough we will look into getting some sort of viewing package next season.
And, JR... I was born in Los Angeles and lived there for over 40 years, but sadly I am not a Rams fan. I am part of that group that loved them when they were loyal to the city, but got turned off when they moved to St Louis. I had to go with NE on this one. We got sunshine.. we got snow.. we got lots of snow, and I don't have to shovel it this week. Oh, that, and one of the best ski jumpers of all time died yesterday. Matti Nykänen became somewhat of a joke after he quit jumping and kept our tabloids full of drunk rages, domestic violence, and missed gigs. He lived a very hard life, dying at just 55. Sad sad guy.
