I just got around to making another free site called You're Gorgeous for Bright Desire... and having submitted it, here I am.

I noticed that you've revamped the porn for women category. And you're no longer advertising any sites that actually say they're for women.

Lately I keep reading people who say they hate the phrase "porn for women". My speech at the conference was a Grandma Scrotum style rant telling them that 13 years ago there was pretty much NO porn for women to speak of, let alone complain about.

This week I will mostly be working on rebuilding my computer room/area.

I collect old computers and they are in the same place as my main (work) computers. For many years this has been an eight foot high line of warehouse style racking covering one wall, with the shelf at about the three foot level extended to form a desk. However as my collection has increased this has become more and more inconvenient as I have to rearrange everything each time I want to get one of the old 8 bit or 16 bit machines out to use (only the PCs and Amigas have permanent places on the "desk", the rest get swapped around as wanted, and spend the rest of their lives on higher shelves in the racking).

Last year I took over a small one roomed apartment opposite my main apartment to use as a bedroom. Since my computers and previous sleeping area were in the same room this has given me more space for my computers, so this week I am changing everything about. It is a major job because it involves finding a temporary home for my work PCs (I cannot stop computer work while doing everything else), clearing down my other computers and packing them in temporary storage (probably in my lounge area), moving some furniture, sorting out a lot of junk stored in the same room, ripping down the racking, then rebuilding the racking so that it, and two desks I own, form a U shaped unit covering 3 walls, then putting everything back.

All this will take at least a week! But by the time I have finished I'll have three walls covered in computers instead of one, and most will be usable without moving stuff about.

Yes, but do you like the new layout?!















I decided a couple months ago to push as much traffic as I can over to my AEBN Custom Theaters, because they are the only things that convert well on a regular basis, and they really do have something for everyone. Using this as an example, they have 259 Movies in their For Ladies Porn Videos category.

Plus, since they are on domains that I own, no need to use the "nofollow" tag, which makes it look like less advertising on the pages

Still working on adding galleries featuring women with tan lines into my database and it's not that they sell but because I like them The nice part is that MET has quite a few that I am adding and those will show up on a number of other erotica hubs that I have so it's not like a complete waste of time.

Now that I've redid the root page of my LL I'm working on new tableless subpages.

Spent a good chunk of today (after I finished up my usual work) basically just trying to duplicate the existing layout without using tables or any of the old code.

This is the template that I'm planning on using after a bit more testing and maybe messing with the colors a bit more.

Actually I've been wanting to kill the table layout at Cleo's for sometime. Learning to us Dreamweaver was the catalyst.

Using Dreamweaver is a totally different mindset than how I've did design in the past, bet very powerful. Compound CSS is allowing me to do things that I never could do in the past. Like giving the list a links a different color and hover than other links on the page like the sidebar and footer link.

I'm just waiting for my treatment times in Toronto figure I will have loads of time for web work for the next bit. but I am happy I will be getting treatment at one of the top clinics in Canada. For each page I have to duplicate my template and then change out five lines of code and then upload it to the server.

Going in alphabetical order and so far I've made it to Porn For Women. I think it's time to take a break...

I think I finally understand compound css and using nested div tags to do layout enough to teach of a few local people here that also want to migrate from GoLive to Dreamweaver.

Looks good, and even using Dreamweaver you managed mostly to avoid the dreaded divitis and classitis that it's notorious for causing.

A couple of things you may want to consider on your cleos-porn-links pages. You likely know that a class can be applied to as many elements as you want, while an ID should only be applied once to one element on any page/document. So having many divs with an ID of navcontainer probably isn't what you meant to do.

You could just convert the navcontainer to a class instead of an ID so you can use it multiple times. And then in the interest of avoiding all divitis, you can consider applying that new navcontainer class directly to the ULs themselves instead of wrapping each list in a div too.

Just wanted to mention those things before you have too many pages done.

Yeah that was some old code that was reused. One of the few bits of old code that was reused.

I noticed that I had done that late last night. It seemed to be working so I left it alone but I do know that it's wrong.

But I just changed all the IDs to classes.

Yep, most browsers will let you get away with reusing IDs, at least right now. But if that ever changes in future browser versions you'll be very glad you changed those to classes.

You rarely need to use IDs instead of classes, except when you really want to indicate that some element on the page is actually unique.

For example, if an element has an ID of "submit_here" and you have a link that says "http://yourdomain.com#submit_here" then the browser will automatically scroll the page to find and show that section to whoever clicks the link.

The other reason to use an ID instead of a class is for Javascript. For example, if you're using the popular jQuery or similar Javascript libraries, then things like the "getElementById" function rely on there being only one element with the ID you specify.

Also, to go along with those things, while an element can have more than one class applied to it, an element can only have one ID.

Aside from those things, according to the "cascading" rules in CSS, an ID is chosen over a class if there are any conflicts in CSS declarations.

There may be other reasons to use an ID instead of a class, but those are the ones that first come to mind.

The good part was that I built everything using includes so there was only one page, two style sheets and one include to change the IDs to classes.
