Wednesday December 30th (aka As Normal As My Normal Is)
Morning!
For the 1st time since Saturday, I woke up feeling basically normal. Tummy ache is gone. Not running to every 15 min. Might actually have something to eat Of course, since I've basically done nothing since Saturday, today will be playing catch-up. A bit paranoid about one of my meds. It's due Sat, which is also when I'll run out. This doc is only in the office on Friday's (she works out of & for 3 different medical organizations). Sent in for a refill on Monday, sent a follow up message yesterday, and with a semi-holiday tomorrow, a legit holiday Friday, then the weekend...I have zero desire to be without this med what-so-ever. I guess I'll message her again & be annoying |

Getting ready to move my kayak from under its tarp and make sure it's all set to go fo tonight's paddle]. It's going to be a huge event with my Meetup group and 2 other Meetup groups. Looks like between our 3 groups we have close to fifty people that have RSVP for tonight. Hopefully, it will be a no drama event after Christy contacted all the organisers and threatened to try to have me arrested if I show up. The organisers of the other two groups have banned her from this event so I guess tonight we will see just crazy she has become.
|kayaking| Other than that going to get some work done after I finish getting my kayak ready plus running few other last minute errands for tonight. On a side note, dressed up our Meetup group with a new graphics and also had yard signs printed for use at events yesterday. |

Area Codes Vs Time Zones
Apparently no one actually looks at where an area code is before picking up the phone to call.
more than once then leave a message asking why after 20 minutes (at 538am) why no one has called them back. then 20 minutes later wondering if we are out of business (602am) then an hour later plus a text. then I called back before it was not pretty! |

Area Codes don't mean a lot anymore due to people keeping their old phone numbers no matter where they have moved to. People I know that live here have area codes from all over the states.

Back home after a cold and dull Christmas with my father. He keeps saying how warm it is in his house - it is not, it is fucking cold!
Visited an historic house while there and took his dog on a few walks, but other than that spent most of the last few days reading or watching TV while Dad played patience on his computer! We actually had TV dinners on Christmas day, eaten out of the plastic carton. Back home and working now. Dinner with my sister tomorrow, a sort of "late Christmas" as she was away with her husband's family over Christmas. I have the solution to that area code problem: Do what I do - live on an island small enough to have only one time zone! (Although that does not work when an idiot American client cannot understand why it is not the same time in England as it is in America!) |
