And Lord, we are especially thankful for nuclear power, the cleanest, safest
energy source there is. Except for solar, which is just a pipe dream |

Although I do admire the work ethic and determination of the Czech players and congratulate them on their winning this tournament, they still have a LONG way to go to be compared to Canada's greatness for hockey in general. You didn't see Iginla, Sakic, Foote, Blake, and host of other great players because they are too busy counting their millions. While we're on the topic, didn't the Czech's lose to Greece (the Euro Champs, by the way) in soccer? Quote:
![]() There were also a bunch of no shows on this Swedish team as well. In fact, the only team that was represented by its BEST players, were in fact the Czechs. And for that reason, they deserve to be considered WORLD CHAMPIONS for 2005. Not just on the ice at this tournament, but also in heart and patriotism as well. Way to Go Czechs! ![]()

With $10,000, we'd be millionaires! We could buy all kinds of useful things like ... love!

You are so right, Canada is a great hockeynation but I really think they act like little babies when things arent going their way. Whats up with starting a fight with less than a minute left of the final? I understand if they are frustrated but come on.. Ever seen The Great One act like that? Yes, we sure did miss Forsberg, Sundin, Näslund, Lidström..... Maybe if the get paid they will come!?! ![]() /Thomas
