Photoshop - Predefined Size for Crops

Hello all...question...I'm trying to edit some pictures for various sizes of banners...I can't figure out how to set up an area like say 250 x 250 that I can drag around the picture to take what I want with a crop. Does anyone now how to do this? I've seen it in other programs, but can't figure out how to do it in Photoshop. I want to designate a size and then select which portion of the image I want in that size instead of play the magical crop game trying to get the exact size I want...any solutions are greatly appreciated...

thank you in advance
-em

ps...i know I can create a crop area and drag it around, but how do I define the specific size?
