Yeah - what is the Twitter - how can it make me coin? Or how can it benefit me traffic wise?

i use it. Why should I follow you though? I follow some people and people I know follow me so I can update when I'm downtown, or what city i'm in. So some people then hit me up and let me know that I should swing by xyz because they are there. Or someone might say hey your in LA if you have time lets meet up for a drink or something.
online people I hear about when maybe they post a blog posting or they see something cool. |

I have twitter. I have employees that love it.
I use it for marketing and it does very well. Personally, I don't love it. I use my facebook status. search me up on facebook - James Hotmovies |

I use Twitter mainly for social purposes, keeping up with blogging/online friends. I also use it to advertise my blog posts and new stuff on FTG. It can be handy to find new things to blog about as well.
But it's not an easy marketing tool, really. You can't just expect to go on there, spam and make sales. Twitter is more a place to build up an online persona, give your site or product a personal touch.

I use it and it works very well for me as a microblog, plugin for members & blogs, keeping up with other people & news, getting a few good laughs, etc.
I almost feel guilty posting it in these threads, though, since I only follow a very small handful of industry people with Grandma Scrotum, Gonzo and a few others among them. Basically if you are just using it as a marketing tool and/or don't "get" it, it probably won't work well for you. http://twitter.com/tastytrixie (yes, I was just bitching about my frustrations with review sites) and my trans girlfriend: http://twitter.com/deliacd |

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

Trixie's Twitter always makes for a good read. I never know I could know so much about another woman's pooping habits
