Time to get listed
I recently started submitting FS again, and am wondering what a reasonable length of time is before I start removing recip links to sites that do not seem to list any of my sites. It has been about 2 weeks for some of the sites I submit to.

It all depends on the LL. Some will list you the same day, some within a week and some are behind months. I just got some sites listed that I submitted back in May or June.

I'm now about three weeks behind on my beloved Perve and my submitters are to blame. I have a handful of people who consistently submit boring and unappealing content and it fucks me all up. Especially when those same people submit to the same category each day. I require good content to keep my creative juices flowing. I'm seriously considering skipping ahead to the submissions of people I like and regularly list and letting the rest of that crap moulder in my queue.
I've also noticed that the abundance of crap content is submitted by people I've never heard of. Goddamned lurkers.

Thanks guys, that gives me an idea - I'll give them a bit more time.

Sven, I wouldn't take down the recips at all -
1. Some LL's do take months, literally months, to list you. 2 weeks is definitely too short a time (some of the big ones with the most traffic take 3-4 weeks). 2. Why waste time tracking down who listed each site and then waste more time replacing recips? Just build another FS instead What I do is this. Once a month or so, I take a close look at my stats. If a LL I have been submitting to for a few weeks sent zero traffic, I stop submitting to it. I don't take the recip off any old sites, but I don't add it to any new sites and I quit submitting to those LL's and try new ones instead.

Me fail English? That's unpossible!

Yea, why bother?
Like Tigermom said, just remove them from your submit list and carry on. Don't waste time removing recips it's just not worth it. |

Bout the only time I change a recip is if I get declined - say by GG for "mixed content" (two girls get interrupted by their friend and a lesbian session becomes a group-sex session) and I don't want to change the site - I replace GG's recip with another one.
