There are some bloody good colleges and universities in Europe, a damn site cheaper than the US equivalent (even when you add on the cost of travel and the expense of living abroad), so widen your horizons, learn for less and discover a foreign country at the same time! And if you choose an English college/university we even speak sort of the same language as Americans (but don't say "fanny" or "Roger" or ask for "chips" unless you know the English meaning of these words, several US celebs have got into a lot of trouble on British chat shows by using these words without knowing the different meaning).

A healthy and educated populace makes for a healthy nation.
Health care and education should be free or at least very affordable. America doesn't have health care it has disease management and Fox news for the uneducated. |

I agree, but I live in Europe, here we look at the state of US health care, feel superior, and laugh at your third world attitude. Every time I here a senator or opposition Presidential candidate yelping about how "wrong" state health care is, I wonder if he realises how bad he is making the US look, and I wonder if the more patriotic Americans shouldn't maybe having him/her tried for treason!
