A good last day of 2010 to you all!
Since no one else is starting this thread I might as well do it.
With all the bad news that has come our way the last couple of days I hope 2011 will start with a blast for all of you and not with more bad news. I'm off to a Chinese restaurant in Antwerp in a couple of hours to have dinner with my mother and one of my sisters. That's about it for today. Have a good one all! |

Good morning.
Personally, the first half of this year really sucked. Of course it was all stuff with my daughter. Since then, she has gotten her act together, behaves and sees her therapist regularly -- this has made me a much happier fellow. That calm home situation has in turn has encouraged me to go on a diet and I've lost almost 10 pounds to date. For me, things are starting to look up. I know for others, 2010 in general has been less than kind. I hope that 2011 is a good year for everyone and that we all get healthier and happier. Have a great day! Other than finally getting my leg fixed there was nothing good about 2010. Just a plan sucky year
Posting this from my iPhone as we just got in from kayaking and I'm waiting for Christy to finish trying out our friend's wooden kayak. Here's hoping that 2011 is a much better year. |

Good morning world
Had to do a bank and grocery store trip first thing this morning. Which meant dealing with the crazy traffic on US1 as the mainlanders are all heading for the big parties in Key West tonight. (If I'd thought about it first I'd have taken one of the gravel roads which cross the island without ever going near the US1.) Now I'm back and have no intention of going anywhere again until maybe tomorrow sometime. Just going to relax and recharge a little. Probably some couch time and a chance to catch up on some of what's on the dvr, including 13 episodes of the Ricky Gervais Show (the animated ones). I agree that 2010 wasn't the best year for a lot of reasons. Let's hope that we get two good years in 2011 and 2012 before it all falls apart at the end of that year (unless the Mayans just ran out of space on that calendar rock). Wishing everyone a safe New Years Eve and a great New Year.

2010 was like a country and western song for me, the wife left and took my car and my cat, two good friends died and business wasn't great.
I'm hoping 2011 is a rock n' roll year! Tonight's going to be a good one! New Years Eve the local pub is always packed with single women so I'm not going to get too drunk and I'll try to start the new year off with a bang I hope 2011 is a better year for all of us!

Wow. Really took the roof off last night. Was in Huntington beach harbor cruising in a brand new 18' duffy. Had loads of wine and food while just cruising. Friend's of ours live in a small condo on the water there. After played catch phrase getting just smashed.
Now I've taken a nap after getting home and am getting the house ready for people coming over for new years eve fiesta. I'm so looking forward to getting 2011 started. Bring on 2011! Have a fun and safe night. See you on the other side. |

Good Day
At the inlaws and unfortunately their internet service sucks big time. They are not bothered because they both got ipads with 3G service. So squeezing in a little online work won't be happening on this trip. Seriously, whats a vacation without doing some work? Everybody be safe tonight and may 2011 just get better for all of us, especially MML! |

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Afternoon all. My day can be summed up as Blue Screen of Death. I solved the heat issue on my render machine, read the mini dumps and swapped out the keyboard. Reinstalled windows on a formatted hard drive. It is starting to look like it is a bad hard drive.
And I seem to be coming down with a cold. 2010 was good and bad. The bad was MrMaryLou, the SNAPS scandal I got caught in. My sister who couldn't stay sober. Losing a large non-adult contract. Having cats die on us. The good is Adult income is finally going up, and I'm about even with what I was before I lost the big contract. Love of a good man. Here's hoping that 2011 finds all of us having more good happen to us then bad.

Still heat issues on the rendering machine....you ought to check out heavy duty coolers
Perhaps even one of the self contained liquid systems I've had great luck with on my overclocking such as this CORSAIR CWCH50-1 High Performance CPU Cooler |
