determining paysite resale value?

Hi all, I haven't really posted here too much in a long time but since I know that there are many long time webmasters here, they might be better equipped to maybe offer some suggestions.

A peer of mine is looking to sell a niche site of roughly 6500 exclusive photos and some video content. I've never really sold an entire paysite before so I'm at a loss as to what to tell her. If anyone has sold a site before was there a formula you used to determine your starting price? I would really appreciate any advice anyone could offer. Thank you.

A site that brings in money can be 6-18 months income. A site that has exclusive content and that is it? It depends on the paysite. If it's a general hardcore site it's not work much at all. If it's a shemale site with 10" cocks then that is rare and worth a lot more.

So it depends on the content.

It's plumper content, they are having a hard time driving traffic to it, plumper is not really their niche. It's not my site but she asked me some advice. For someone who knows the plumper niche it's pretty much a turnkey website with a load of content in it ready to go, it has to be worth something. But I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question Ramster, thank you.

In this climate I would only pay 3-6 months income.

Who would be stupid enough to sell a site for 3 months income? They could close their computer down and make the 3 months income without even being online and the rest would be extra after that.

It sounds like they probably don't have much income being produced by the site, so the value may end up being based on the content alone, which is the case for a lot of paysites I've seen for sale lately. And it's almost always a situation where the current owner can't make it work, but they still believe it has a higher than realistic value. (Same with most types of sites being sold.) Quite often, the new owner will toss the current tour and work with a CMS they are more accustomed to, so they won't see value in the current owner's graphics or scripting. In this market, I would expect the sale price to be in the low range unless the content is shooting sunshine out its ass.

True, that is if they are making money. There is a lot of shitty programs out there, run by 2bob planks that make next to nothing and want out.

Yea I don't really know. She asked me and I've never resold my own content let alone be able to tell someone else what to sell their content for. I was trying to get a ballpark

This is my wild ass guess:
So many factors... I only see thumbnails so I'll assume all the exclusive pics are high-resolution with 2257 docs.
I've seen some exclusive niche hardcore content up to $5 per pic. With this as bbw softcore and many sets have the same backdrop/location maybe $2 per pic. And anyone looking to buy would want a deal.... so probably even less. The site and domain itself doesn't seem valuable. Each update looks like ~50 pics, so you have roughly 130 exclusive bbw sets to sell. 6k to 10k maybe? Note these are just my thoughts and not an expert opinion. I've only bought non-exclusive and semi-exclusive content.

Thank you Wolf for taking a stab at a guesstimate for me. I should also state that I have sold some content of my own before just only a couple of sets, just not my entire career's worth so I've never sold my own stuff for less than $1.00 per pic. There are people out there that will low ball on that even so, I totally hear you when you say that people are always looking to get the best deal.

I personally know of some people who might be interested in the plumper content but I think it's only fair that she get some idea of what her content is worth as far as resale value before she puts the feelers out to potential buyers. The site actually has two URLS and they promote the other one but I had mentioned to her that there could be trademark issues and people might not want to buy that domain name because of it. I didn't want to post that URL on here which is why i posted the lexi url instead. Thanks again
