XBiz Announces 2005 Award Nominees, Receives Record Submissions LOS ANGELES – After receiving nearly double the number of company nominations than last year, adult news and information portal XBiz announced its list of nominees for the 3rd annual XBiz Awards show, scheduled to take place on Jan. 5 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas' Mandalay Resort and Casino. From the final list of nominees for "Companies of the Year" in various business categories, a team of judges will now determine which companies take home the coveted crystal XBiz trophy at the yearly gala event. "I, along with the XBiz team congratulate the final nominees," said Alec Helmy, publisher of XBiz. IMO it's well deserved. Lots of nice people here and some good biz to be done. A couple of those boards are nice communities too but GG&Jim rock da house.

GFY won the now defunct "Peoples Choice Award" last year, which I can completely see based on the number of people they have on the board.
But since they changed it to "Online Community" well, things are different now |
