I kept on waiting for someone else to start the morning thread. lol

Spent a good part of this morning making fruit leather and Coconut Carrot Treats using our new Ninga Kitchen System 1200 to puree and mix everything.

It's just plain nasty out with rain and strong wind gusts so going to get a little work done and then do some house cleaning.

Good morning and happy Earth Day.

I usually start the morning thread, if it's not already done, but we are in the Bahamas this week so I am somewhat distracted from the computer. It's 28C which beats the 10C I am used to in Toronto.

I was at the first Earth Day in Philadelphia, April 1970. I was a freshman at an all-boys prep school at the time and I discovered quite a few interesting things hanging out with the 7,000 people in the crowd at Independence Mall that year. Particularly the people who didn't go to all-boys prep schools. And I was there every year afterwards.
