New Site Assistance - Main Domain

I am getting ready to start a new domain and try out some ideas after allot of reading

Before I get started I have some questions I was hoping we could discuss. I really want this one to be a winner in SE traffic as well as link lists.

1. What do you recommend as content for your main domain?

LL, Gallery, Free Site, AVS Site, Pay Site?

2. If LL is there free software out there to assist in keeping track of linkbacks / submissions?

3. Do you recommend staying niche and if so exactly how niche? Lesbian vs Amateur vs Mature vs Teen

Meaning that Amateur and Mature can be broken down allot, however teen and lesbian can only go so far

4. What are your thoughts of linking all free sites from the main site? Good idea or not (thinking that someone can come in and see all of your work at once)

5. If LL or Gllery how do you recommend a newbie getting their foot in the door

Well thats a start Im sure Ill have more questions along the way.

I would be interested in an answer to number 2 as well. Back in the day, using free counters was the best way to keep track of visitors, but that does not really work any longer. The server stats I have do not help much either, as it only tracks visitors to the entire domain, and not to each particular site within the domain.

1. Start with a free site, if you are just entering this game. However be aware that one free site won't make you much money, you need a hell of a lot of them.

2. Yes, but with scripts there is free and there is good, there is rarely both in one package. I always advise people to learn Perl or PhP and write their own. (If you intend to make a living in this business and you want to buy good scripts, you are going to spend several thousand dollars on this. A good book on Perl will cost a fraction of that.)

3. Niche is best, but do not pick a niche that you think is the best money maker. Go for the niche that turns you on, you have to know your market to make a lot of money.

4. Yes and no, with a definite maybe. Simply put, you will improve your SE ranking by increasing the links to your other sites. But if your surfers get too many links they are going to be satisfied with all the free porn you are giving them and not buy anything.

5. Don't go down that route in the beginning unless you have money as start up capital. People don't post to LL or TGP in a reasonable quantity until you get a lot of surfers, and you won't get a lot of surfers until you get a reasonable quantity of posters. So to start with you will be buying in traffic, and as you need thousands of hits every day this is expensive.

However if you do want to go with TGP take a look at these tools they might help:
Free gallery submission script (hosted)
Gallery Pool (where webmasters can post their galleries and you can add them to your site as starter galleries)
Another gallery pool

just to clarify I am speaking of the root of the domain only - there will be of course many many free sites behind it

I take it from this that you mean all your sites will be on the same domain, if so ignore what I said about SE ranking in point 4. Although internal links will make a slight improvement on your SE rank, it is so little that it is not worth giving away all that free porn for.

(P.S. I also suggest that you get several domains, a good host will allow this.)

I got this from a forum I post in so the credit is all hers for writing it. Checks back links pretty good but its a manual deal but free and works.

- Thats what I was wondering I was thinking that if I turned my main site (off of root) into a LL then I could hardlink all of my free porn into it allowing the site to be connected for SE's - this way they would see daily fresh updates and I can target each mini site for unique keywords. However I am worried that having all of my free sites linked in one place could do more damage then good. Thoughts?

Also with all of this said do you still think that it would be best to do another free site for the root site?

I reask this because I wonder if it would be a waste just to have 12 links on the index (from a PR aspect)
