Wednesday May 6th (aka Mexican Hangover Day)
Morning!
The Bitch & I watched Kurt Cobain: Montage Of Heck yesterday & it was fucking brilliant! Better than I could've ever hoped for it to be. The Bitch liked it a lot, too, and she's not exactly a Nirvana fan. So powerful, so emotional, so fucking good! Watch it if you're a fan of bio docs - you might just thank me In other news, it rained, so we didn't do any yard work, and I fell asleep watching hockey...but I did get to see the only goal in Chicago's win over Minnesota Just work for me today...might re-watch something too |

No Nirvana music here. I'm more techno and dance type of a music fan.
Seems that I have lots of work coming soon. Trouble is I really need to make some money now so it's a bit frustrating. The one position, the one that was created just for me doing all of the A/C company's online marketing, is just dragging on and on waiting for databases to be finished by people that are about as fast as lizards left out in the cold. Just doing my usual work today along with playing with blog themes and going to the gym before having a movie night at my place with friends, providing they aren't too hun over from yesterday. |

Good Morning
The usual bit of work on the agenda with more house work since I do not seem to hurt nearly as much as I did yesterday. At least we are having a cool spell this week with temps in the upper 60's which I like. |

It's cold here. It keeps raining, I feel ill.
Oh, and tomorrow (Thursday) we have an election, none of the bloody candidates are good enough to run the country (not just IMHO, but in most people's opinion) but we have to pick someone to do the job. Kind of like being given the death sentence and being told that the good news is you get to choose how you are executed. I am very pissed off. |

Ohh no. She is only a figurehead. She has one political power only, she can hold up a law for 3 years - in theory. But if she ever used that power there would be such a stink she would have to abdicate.
She is basically a diplomat, her job is to impress other world leaders. She is also a good tourist draw. We expect to make several billion this year alone out of the fact that she has now got a new great-granddaughter. |

And we could not afford to run the country without her money. The queen effectively pays 85% tax (although technically what happens is she pays no tax, the government "administers" her property for her, keeps 85% of the money it makes for providing this service, and gives her back 15% of her own money).
