Friday 19th - Chill dudes & dudettes

Ahhh ... spent the morning feeding weird animals, moving snow about and drinking coffee with neighbors.

Found a 150usd car :D It needs to be able to do 1 500km drive...and then itll be sent to car heaven ... its not exactly an impressive car but it does seem to fit the bill :D

Oh and Brickzilla has converted me to communism...all goods should be shared equally |banana|

Hockey is getting exciting ... the village team lost the 12th in a row and is more or less certain to get relegated, but the local heroes are within 3points of championship playoffs in the SHL ... we shall overcome |hockey|

Morning! |sars|

Set my alarm for 3AM so I could get up and get an update ready, only to find out our video guy was having some problems & it's not gonna be ready til this afternoon |facepalm|

So I've just been sitting here working on some of my stuff, which is the plan for the rest of the day.

What team are you referring to? One in the SHL? I'm not sure how the Swedish league works in terms of relegation etc. But I like to learn more about EU leagues. I used to follow the Bundesliga years ago when I lived overseas.

In the SHL I follow Leksand ... its a village about 50kms away with 5000 people but they consistently fill the hockey stadium with 7000+ people coming from all over (when not in corona) - and always send 2000+ to away games...A historic darling of Swedish hockey though we´ve usually been in the second tier. We are 7th in the league, top6 goes into championship playoffs - 11 & 12 go into relegation games but no risk of that for once.

Generally the SHL is better than the Bundesliga, on a level with the Swiss league approximately (and around KHL/second tier level for the US - but way below NHL obviously)

My local village team is called Malung - and is in the 3rd tier - first time ever we have been that high...and the trouble is half the teams we are up against are full time pro´s ...ours all have fulltime jobs aside from the hockey. And well, we are getting trashed...

Good stuff hinc. These guys can definitely play. I looked at the Leksand roster and recognized Carter Ashton, who was in the Maple Leafs system for several years.

Yeah Carter Ashton joined recently and has been a great hit since he came :) He scored yesterday hehe ... its usually that level of US players we can attract - those with a few NHL games who didnt quite get their breakthrough there & thus want something else or plays KHL
