Whatever sickness I had last week is nothing compared to how horrendous I feel today. Started yesterday during my draft & it's even worse today.

I'm going to medicate myself & lay on the couch...

The wife and I decided to spend the weekend at home watching netflix. Knocked out 3 movies (Django, Expendables3, The Cobbler) and 6 episodes of Californication yesterday. With no kids coming over it looks like we will be doing the same today as well :D

Been doing the sight seeing thing mostly with the wife and daughter and today it will be Santa Monica pier and Venice beach I think. Tomorrow daughter has an afternoon dance thing before they leave on a red eye later that night. I'm here until Wednesday night. Have a good long weekend.

Just got back from ether Jazz Fest. Storms started moving in just as we left but now it's storming again.

Went to a stormy, but enjoyable, pool party yesterday. I brought 10 pounds of dry ice and threw pieces in the pool which freaked out a few of the girls. But once they realized that it was going to burn them, kill them or cause the end of the world we had fun with it. Best part was putting a bunch in one of of a pool noodle and then putting that end deep under water which causes water and fog to bubble out of the end above water.

Got up late, did a bit of work on the computer, then spent the rest of the day on housework.

Twice had to try communicating with the idiot the landlord hired to try and get him through the upcoming inspection. How the hell do you work in a country where you cannot understand the language at all? Two simple things. First I asked him where he had left the stepladder as I needed to use it. Later he asked me if I could refill his water bottle for him. Both simple questions, but it took ages to get either one worked out!
