WordPress 3.0 Beta 1 Released (merged WP with WP MU)

This is Beta 1 software so be careful how and where you use it.

The merge did happen, and now the MU (Multi-User) functions are part of WordPress. (extra notes about this at http://codex.wordpress.org/User:Andrea/Create_A_Network)
