adultpornguide.com is no more it seems
Just a heads up to anyone with links to www.adultpornguide.com as it seems to be no more.
I'm not associated with adultpornguide.com but did have link trades with it and noticed that it is now parked this morning. |
As far as I know it belongs (or did) to Debbie
I just hit her on ICQ |

Hit her? That's woman abuse! ;) |
Thanks for the heads up Cleo.
Another one to get of my submit list. It's getting really hard to find active link lists these days. |
A PR3 site. You'd think that the person would try to sell the site rather than walk away. Go figure.

Didn't DD take that site over a while ago or am I totally wrong again?
|
The site is Debbie's and it's back online :D

Hi everyone. Adultpornguide is mine. I have not abandoned it, in fact I am quite pissed about what has happened here.
Short version. Bank calls me Saturday, we are checking up on a couple of overseas transactions to confirm they are not fraudulent (one of them was godaddy!) My response - transactions are fine, please process. Tried to use my card on the weekend, it's blocked - no cash, quiet weekend! Call the bank on Monday - 'Oh, we are so sorry, we put the card on hold and forgot to take it off' Result? Renewal didnt go through so Godaddy parks the domain. Just like that! no warning, nothing! So... APG has now been renewed, should be back up and running as soon as the DNS changes back to my host. Thanks to Mateusz for the heads up, much appreciated |
Will herhunks be coming back too?
|
Leave it to the bank to screw something like that up. Good to hear it's all worked out.
|
Seems it all worked out now :)

over 100 domains with Godaddy and they f$#@! it up without a warning? Whatever happened to customer service?
Herhunks will be back soon, thanks again Wazza! |
If you have over 100 domains/sites, why haven't you noticed a significant decline in traffic/clicks?
GoDaddy sends out many renewal notices when domains are about to expire and have already expired. If you think that they did it without warning, you should check your spam folder to make sure you're receiving notifications from them. |

Both of those domains were set to auto-renew. Both were due for renewal on the 14th of June, which is also the day the bank decided to play super sleuth and put my account on hold for 'suspicious transactions' - see above posts. Godaddy did not send me an email to say the billing had failed, they immediately parked both domains WITHOUT WARNING. |
Your bank use a bird of prey motif for their "uber security system" by any chance?
Mine does... queried a purchase at my local supermarket a few months ago... |

Personally, I think relying on auto-renew is a bad idea. For any number of various reasons, including credit card expiration, your auto-renew may fail. IMO, it's better to setup your own reminders and do your domain renewals manually. That way you know for sure and maintain more control over your business. |
Glad you are back Dallasdeb |bananna|
