Adding "related posts" to a post
 

I've seen many blogs (mostly celeb gossip or sports themed) doing this. At the bottom of the post, a small section with 2-5 "related posts" are linked for more reading on the subject in the original post. Is this done using a plug-in or do the actually hand link to the articles?

It's done with a plug-in. Yarpp(yet another related post plug-in) can do it. Also, if your using simple tags, I believe it will do it for you too.

Or search WP you'll find a bunch of related post plug-ins

thanks! There are some things about wordpress that I love but I'm also finding it a bit frustrating. Right now, my blog is just kind of static while I figure it out. I've tried so many different templates and also tried designing my own but my own designs were always failures for one reason or ten...

Does anyone else think that wordpress is a great big Google conspiracy? I just get the feeling they're forcing us into this for a very specific reason-

simpletags can do that for Ya ... tag posts with same KW through simpletag and You'll be able to set related posts option the way You like it. Here is one example at my amateur blog:

Keep in mind it's tag oriented so basicly it means a bit more work :-)

Seems ok, I just see it as a way to do more internal interlinking.
